Pastor Tyron D. Tatum

My name is Pastor Tyron D. Tatum.  I am married to Dr. Valerie Tatum and we have three children: Paris, Stephen, and Safari.  My personal emphasis is on family.  I am the pastor of City of Fire
Ministries located in Little Rock, Arkansas. 

I've obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Harding University in Bible Religion.  Currently, I'm working towards my Master of Divinity Degree with emphasis on Old Testament.  I encompass my studies with that of the church to create a learning ministry.  City of Fire Ministries is a teaching and learning ministry.

My goals are first, to bring unification to the family.  I believe a strong family unit shall create enriching and harmonious beliefs that will foster each family member and his or her relationship with God.  Husbands and wives must have a relationship of longevity.  They must become role models for their children to pattern.  It is important that an emphasis be placed on marriage because the foundation of family begins with the husband and wife.  Second, it is important that an individual be economically set free in order for God's kingdom to be established.  Most Christians are in economic bondage; therefore, we become a stumbling block for others to enter the kingdom of God. 

God has anointed me to destroy any spiritual barriers within our lives.  Next, I believe that the minister of the Gospel must be educated to help keep abreast of current religion practices within his/her religious beliefs.  In addition, it will give the minister the opportunity to provide factual information contained in the teachings of God.

Personal Statement:  I know God has a plan for each and every one of us; however, it is the duty of the individual to accept Christ in his/her life and live a Christian life.
